MSCA-IF-2016 - Individual Fellowships
Call: H2020-MSCA-IF-2016

Dissemination of the research results
Targeting the professionals, a few dissemination activities will be implemented:
(1) Workshop: this will be organised by UHULL at the end of the project to showcase the operation of the experimental prototype, test rig, and computer model, with around 50 participants; (2) Journal publication: 3 papers will be submitted to the high impact journals, i.e., Applied Energy, Solar Energy, Energy, for publication, as part of the research outcomes; (3) Conference Attendance: two conferences: (a)17th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies (2018, venue to be confirmed, http://www.wsset.org/), (b) World Renewable Energy Congress (2019, venue to be confirmed, http://www.wrenuk.co.uk/congresses.html), will be attended by the incoming researcher and host supervisors to present the research findings; (4) Link to the European Photovoltaic Technology Platform (http://www.eupvplatform.org/) and EU Research Executive Agency - Unit A3 - RISE (http://ec.europa.eu/msca). By the end of the project, the project results (including newsletter) will be reported to the above EU offices. This will allow the project results to be effectively communicated to EU professionals in the solar field.
Other communication activities
The communication activities will be processed through a few instruments including website, social media, audio visuals, newsletter, events and networking, publications, and teaching materials. These are detailed below: (1) European Researcher’s Evening Event: The host staff (Prof. Zhao) and the researcher (Dr Li) will attend this event by 2018; during which they will present to the students from European primary & secondary schools and universities in order to develop their interest in PV/T technologies; (2) Public Showcase and workshop: In March 2019, the host staff at UHULL will organize a public showcase in Hull’s Annual Science Fair to present the project ideas to local citizens. By the end of the project, UHULL will organize a workshop of around 50 people to demonstrate the performance of the PV-TE-MCHP; (3) Social media/materials (Logo, Website, Social Networks and Videos): The project logo and website will be developed at the beginning of the project (July 2017) while the website will be updated on a regular basis. A few social networks including Youtube, Facebook and LinkedIn will be established (by June 2018) to communicate the project ideas and obtain opinions from the people linked to the networks. A video will be prepared by the end of 2017 to introduce the project ideas to the public; this will then be uploaded to the above social networks; (4) Traditional media/press: A newsletter will be published by the end of 2018 to report the project concept and associated benefits; this will be delivered to wide range of personnel during the public showcases, exhibitions and conferences; (5) Teaching to Young people: by July 2018, the researcher and host supervisors will collect the project findings to form a brief teaching resource, which will be updated in subsequent years. The researcher and supervisors will use the material to present lectures to the undergraduates at the host university and other organizations they will visit.
PROJECT PARTNERS
University of Hull
The University of Hull was founded in 1927 – originally as University College Hull. The foundation stone was laid the following year by the Duke of York (later King George VI, of The King's Speech fame) and we opened for business with 39 students and 14 ‘one-man’ departments. We’ve come a long way since then, to put it mildly. The University now has more than 16,000 students and around 2,500 employees, including more than 1000 academic staff.
Hisense
Founded in 1969 as a small radio factory in China, Hisense has grown into a multibillion-dollar global conglomerate with a workforce of over 75,000 worldwide. Hisense is recognised as a world leading provider of flat panel TVs, household appliances, and mobile communications and is recognised as a top 10 player by large global institutions, such as Euromonitor, IDG, and the Consumer Electronics Association.
